Make Spiritual Wellness a Priority

Warm greetings from Southern California! I hope all is well with you, your family and loved ones. Here’s just a quick reminder that making our spiritual health a priority will serve us well in both the good and the bad times. God’s word; scriptures, is the truth upon which we can securely and successfully build our lives. He has promised in His word that He will empower us by His grace to become and do all that He has created us for. Reading, studying, and meditating on God’s word on a daily basis and seeking Him through our prayers keeps us closely connected to the source of our lives and strength; God.

We all need one another for spiritual upliftment. So, take full advantage of our prayer team whenever you’re in need of additional prayer support. “Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NLT).

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT).

And “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians 6:18 (NLT).

You are in my prayers!

God bless you,

Bukky Agboola.

Gift Your Loved One “Over-The-Top Mega Love” this Valentine’s

There is more to love than sweet gifts and flowers. Whether you’re on your own or with your loved one this Valentine’s day, make the weekend extra special with “Giving God Ultimate Love: Over-The-Top Mega Love” the award-winning book by author Bukky Agboola (paperback, 978-1-7335652-0-2; eBook, 978-1-7335652-1-9). In her book, Agboola emphasizes that the most important relationship in our lives is the one that we have with God. She gives practical insight into what loving our creator really looks like and details how loving God in such a strong, “over-the-top” way, can result in His innumerable blessings being poured out into our lives.

God intends for love to be our highest goal and learning to love God fully and completely can bring a wealth of joy and peace into our lives and enable our spirits to overcome adversity. In “Giving God Ultimate Love: Over-The-Top Mega Love” readers will learn how to become one with God and experience His abundance through the use of relatable examples and thought-provoking questions. Human hearts can become attached to their earthly treasures. Agboola reminds all of us that God must be our greatest treasure because the gift giver is greater than all of His gifts. God’s word; scriptures tell us the following:

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21 (NIV).

“Let love be your highest goal!” 1 Corinthians 14:1 (NIV).

The Christmas story holds even more significance during these challenging times

Warm Greetings! I hope you’re doing well. The holidays are knocking at the door and whether you’re celebrating virtually or in person, we round up the tumultuous year of 2020 with great gratitude in our hearts for having made it through!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who has lost a loved one during this year. There are no words sufficient enough to comfort you and alleviate your suffering no matter how much we try to remember that our loved ones are in a better place. It’s hard not to be overwhelmed by grief and sorrow. But I pray that these following verses from the scriptures will be of some comfort and offer hope.

 “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18(NLT).

“The LORD bless you and keep you;

The LORD make his face shine on you

And be gracious to you;

The LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.

(Numbers 6:26 NIV).

The Christmas message about the greatest gift ever given at the first Christmas, Jesus Christ, God himself, coming to the earth because he loves us, holds even more significance during these challenging times.

 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV).

By God’s grace, we will enjoy good health and His abundance in 2021 and beyond. A very merry Christmas and a happy new year to you, your family and all your loved ones!

 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:6 (NIV).

Mega blessings!

Bukky.
