The Christmas story holds even more significance during these challenging times
Warm Greetings! I hope you’re doing well. The holidays are knocking at the door and whether you’re celebrating virtually or in person, we round up the tumultuous year of 2020 with great gratitude in our hearts for having made it through!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who has lost a loved one during this year. There are no words sufficient enough to comfort you and alleviate your suffering no matter how much we try to remember that our loved ones are in a better place. It’s hard not to be overwhelmed by grief and sorrow. But I pray that these following verses from the scriptures will be of some comfort and offer hope.
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18(NLT).
“The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make his face shine on you
And be gracious to you;
The LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.
(Numbers 6:26 NIV).
The Christmas message about the greatest gift ever given at the first Christmas, Jesus Christ, God himself, coming to the earth because he loves us, holds even more significance during these challenging times.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV).
By God’s grace, we will enjoy good health and His abundance in 2021 and beyond. A very merry Christmas and a happy new year to you, your family and all your loved ones!
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 (NIV).
Mega blessings!
Bukky.
